Harvey E. Hutchinson IV, AAMSFounder & President Harvey E. Hutchinson IV, President and Chief Investment Officer, established Hutchinson Financial Advisors, Inc. (previously Brunson Hutchinson Advisors, Inc.) in July 1997. Harvey graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance & Economics in 1991 and has successfully worked in the financial services industry since that time. Having known since a young age that his passion was finance, it is no surprise that he has pursued that career path and created a successful business in that field. Harvey’s passion and desire to help his clients navigate the increasingly complex world of finance has allowed him to differentiate himself from the standard product-driven sales of traditional financial service professionals and to focus on delivering unbiased advice while acting in a fiduciary capacity. For many years, Harvey has been a recipient of the Five Star Wealth Manager Award presented annually, and he has Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation. Harvey is an avid sports fan with a love of both the Washington Football Team and the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Rams. A passionate supporter of his alma-mater, VCU, he attends most home games and is a member of the RAM Athletic Fund Board. Harvey is an active member of St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church in Richmond and has served as the Chairman of the Financial Committee since 2005.
Susan joined Hutchinson Financial Advisors, Inc. (formerly Brunson Hutchinson Advisors, Inc.) in April, 1998. Previously Susan worked in the banking industry in both the trust and investment areas, and this experience has added to her value as an employee of Hutchinson Financial Advisors, Inc., almost since its creation.
Alice began working for Hutchinson Financial Advisors, Inc. (formerly Brunson Hutchinson Advisors, Inc.) in 2004 after retiring from the Richmond Times-Dispatch Newspaper, Inc. While she held various positions at the Times-Dispatch, Alice managed the training department for over fifteen years and was a huge customer service advocate. She continues to lead this charge at Hutchinson Financial Advisors.
Bonnie is the owner of her own CPA firm. Her strategic partnership with HFA allows clients the benefits of Bonnie’s tax preparation and bookkeeping at a reduced rate. Bonnie graduated in 1984 with a BBA in accounting from James Madison University and got her CPA certificate in 1998. She is a member of the AICPA, VSCPA, NATP, and the Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce. Bonnie and her family reside in Chesterfield, Virginia.
